Certified Nursing AssistantCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Duties and Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Director of Nursing or CNA Supervisor, the CNAs work closely with the nursing staff to ensure coordination of patient care.Provides physical support for patients/resident's daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring to/from bed, toileting, walking, standing, or exercising.Assists patients with daily medication and supplements.Ensures proper resident/patient diet based on their dietary restrictions.Examines patients for open wounds, bruises, or blood in urine.Notes and communicates patient/resident behavior and changes in mood.Cleans rooms and bed linens.Checks and records vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate under the supervision of a licensed nurse.Answers to patient calls and needs.Requirement DescriptionMinimum 2 years of LTC, SNF, or Med Surg experience - (REQUIRED)BLS (Must be American Heart Association OR American Red Cross) - (REQUIRED)Covid Vaccine Required - Medical & Religious Exemptions can be accepted on a case-by-case basis - (REQUIRED)Previous travel experience - (REQUIRED)Profile RequirementsWork history/resumeHome/taxable address (just need to be listed somewhere in profile, ex. resume, in the notes section of the submittal)Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date)References - highly preferred (if not provided, will be required to complete during onboarding if candidate accepts an offer)Copy of BLS (AHA or ARC)License verificationAdditional Facility Information:Agency MUST have an active MI iCHAT account and be authorized to schedule fingerprinting.Blocked scheduling cannot be approved.
