TERM INSTRUCTOR - ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY POOL
Position Information
This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill temporary TERM Instructor assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. AN APPLICATION IS VALID FOR ONE YEAR, AT WHICH TIME APPLICANTS WISHING TO REMAIN IN THE POOL MUST REAPPLY AND UPDATE THEIR INFORMATION.

Position Summary Information
The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the Architecture field.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a NAAB -accredited institution plus architectural licensure in a US jurisdiction
OR Master’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Studies
OR Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Architecture
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in teaching.

Job Duties
Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction.
Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes.
