Occupational Therapist
Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience License: Active state license required Certifications: Required certifications specific to practice Must-Have: Experience working with both adult and pediatric patients Description: This role will work with a diverse patient population. The caseload will primarily involve pediatric outpatient therapy. Some adult inpatient coverage may be required as needed. This position will involve a variety of diagnoses. Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team is essential. Candidates must have familiarity with activities of daily living and acute care settings. Skills in assessment and intervention for various conditions are necessary. Experience with neurodevelopmental treatment and sensory integration is preferred. The role involves planning and executing treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The candidate must demonstrate strong patient and family education abilities. Adherence to safety and injury prevention protocols is essential. Participation in discharge planning and reassessment processes is required.
