The RN (Cath Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab) specializes in workingnwith patients undergoing diagnostic or interventional cardiac procedures in ancatheterization lab. During cardiacncatheterizations, these specially trained nurses assist the medical team bynmonitoring the patient’s vitals, assisting with procedural medication includingnsedatives, assisting doctors, technicians, nurses and the patients.
Minimum Requirements:
Registered Nurse with a current license in the state theynare working
ACLS may be required by state/client contract
Minimum of 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofnpractice
Current BLS
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or statenregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
