Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The position provides nursing care in an emergency department setting during 12-hour day shifts. Candidates must have emergency department experience, trauma experience, required certifications, and an active Virginia or compact nursing license.
Job Details
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.7:00 p.m., 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of emergency department experience in a similar-size emergency department; Level I or Level II trauma experience; active Virginia or compact nursing license at the time of submission; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; trauma certification required.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior electronic medical record experience is strongly preferred.
Additional Information: Prior travel nursing experience is required. Every other weekend is required. Orientation is available on 12/14/2026 or 12/28/2026. Availability to work two of three holidays is required. Assignments end on Saturday.
