Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Okeene, Oklahoma.

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position will primarily focus on providing care in the Med-Surg unit with additional responsibilities in the Emergency Room setting. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule This position operates on a 7 on, 7 off block schedule with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role requires availability for every other weekend.
Responsibilities Manage a patient caseload averaging 5 patients, collaborating with 2 RNs per shift.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the medical record.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Qualifications Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are mandatory.
Strong clinical skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information A complimentary room is provided within the facility for nurses during their shift, ensuring convenience and comfort while on duty.
