Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee.

Patient Ratios: 6:1
Type of Equipment: IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCDs, Continuous Pulse Oximeters, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG Machines, Bladder Scanners, iMobile Communication Technology
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) in a 4-week schedule
Floating Policy: Contract labor is the first to float; rotation applies when multiple contract labor staff are scheduled
Patient Experience Expectations: Provide attentive and compassionate care; engage patients and families in care plans through bedside shift reports and personalized interactions.
Certifications: Comprehensive Stroke Center, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center
Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set: Med/Surg Experience
Ability to prioritize care and multitask
Start IVs
Basic wound care
Maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
Required Qualifications: Active RN license
BLS certification
Dress Code Required uniform: Navy scrubs, tops, and bottoms
