TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Battle Creek, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Location: Battle Creek, MI Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 19:00 7:30 Holiday coverage is required; manager is not approving any holiday RTO LOCAL RATE APPLIES TO CANDIDATES 50 MILES AND UNDER - SEE CDM FOR RATE x12 or 4x12s available notate preference in submittal Offering up to 26 weeks, notate length preference in submittal Travel Experience HIGHLY PREFERRED, may consider no travel if more perm experience Information Regarding Observation Unit: 10 Bed ER Overflow Ratios 1:6 at Night; 1:5 at Days Focus of constant reassessment of readiness of patient for discharge. This unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients. FIRST TO FLOAT Floating Requirement: Will float to other Med Surg units Weekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend. Information Regarding the Other Med Surg Units: We all see a good mix of medical patients. Target Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nights Ratios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instances Variety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e RNs, Techs, etc). Other Requirements: Must be willing to work with variety of staff (i.e., RN, Techs etc.) Cannot guarantee/approve block scheduling at this time Michigan RN License BLS (AHA) Minimum 1 year Required.
