Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Required Qualifications
Active Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience in a hospital setting
ACLS certification required (American Heart Association)
BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
PALS certification required (American Heart Association)
NRP and TNCC certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience
Experience working in a community hospital setting, either in a permanent or contract capacity
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in emergency department environments
