General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
· Number of Beds - 20
· Number of Staff – 50
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 1 CNC/charge, Desk clerk, Scrub Tech, and 5-6 RNs
o Night Shift – 1CNC/charge, Desk clerk, Scrub tech, and 4-5 RNs
· Patient Ratios – 3-4:1 for post-partum couplets, 1-2:1 for labor patients
· Types of equipment - Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC Glucose monitoring, Monica Novii telemetry
· EMR - Meditech / CPN
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Minimum 1-year current experience as an L&D RN
ACLS, BLS, NRP & AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM)
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Postpartum experience
High risk LDR experience
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
C-sections and Inductions
AROM, IUPC, DFM and Doppler
Circulating C-Sections
Best personality Fit:
Positive attitude, hard worker, likes to stay busy
Patient care experience is a priority
