Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Flexible scheduling with day and night shift needs; on-call availability required on various shifts
Key Responsibilities
Assist, support, and educate patients and their family members throughout the birth process, including illness understanding, treatment planning, and discharge planning
Provide direct clinical care for women during both normal and high-risk pregnancies
Deliver hands-on care for patients ranging from neonates to older adults within the Family Birth Center
Adhere to physician orders and accurately document all care in patient records
Serve as a resource and support for families during the postpartum period
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times in accordance with applicable standards
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington or compact licensure eligibility
Experience in Labor and Delivery or a related maternal/newborn care setting
Ability to work flexible scheduling across day and night shifts as needed
Availability for on-call shifts to supplement departmental needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience caring for patients in a Family Birth Center or similar perinatal environment
Familiarity with high-risk obstetric care and neonatal assessment
Strong patient and family education skills across diverse clinical scenarios
