TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing role in Morgantown, West Virginia.

We're looking for Medical Surgical RNs with 1-2 years recent acute care experience. The right RN should be prepared to conduct patient assessments, prioritize data collection, perform ongoing assessments, and provide education and support to patients and families.
Responsibilities
Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑operative patients.
Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
Prepare equipment and assist the physician during examination and treatment.
Educate patients on surgical procedures.
Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physicians.
Physical and Work Environment
Medical Surgical Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. They should be able to lift 20 pounds easily, and may need to lift up to 50 pounds at times. The role involves working in a fast‑paced environment with patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.
Requirements
BLS, NIH, ACLS certifications.
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience.
Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
