Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) nurse in Lynchburg, Virginia. This position involves providing specialized perioperative patient care, supporting surgical procedures, and working within a team environment. The role requires experience in vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotics, along with scrub and circulate skills, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in the operating room specialty, BLS certification, active VA or Compact Nursing license, and all required time-off requests in the application packet.
Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience is preferred.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Orientation dates are held every other Monday starting on September 8, 2026, and September 21, 2026. Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions. The facility is a teaching hospital, and team members are expected to support and interact positively with students and new hires. The client can cancel assignments with up to 36 hours' notice based on census.
