Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting at a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
Float between units as needed, including Pediatric Med/Surg and NICU
Complete self-scheduling for 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with flexibility to work consecutive or split shifts
Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required QualificationsActive RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of PICU experience required
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard travel candidate (locals may be considered under separate terms)
Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling needs prior to or at the time of submission - post-offer requests may not be considered
2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)
Background must be clear of Nursys or background check hits per facility policy
Preferred Experience / SkillsExperience working in a children's hospital or pediatric specialty environment
Familiarity with floating between PICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, and NICU settings
Strong adaptability and comfort with self-scheduling in a high-acuity environment
