Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit requiring hospital experience and the ability to float between inpatient and outpatient care.
Details Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Ability to float between outpatient and inpatient care required
Requirements Current OT license required if applicable
BLS certification required
Hand certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program, or equivalent experience accepted
Additional Information Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs for patients impaired by illness, injury, or psychological/developmental conditions
Complete patient evaluations, develop and update plans of care, and provide ongoing treatment per established standards
Provide clinical supervision to assistants or aides and may serve as a clinical instructor for students
Maintain accurate documentation, charge capture, and compliance with regulatory and facility requirements
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe working environment
Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
Returning staff must have a separation period of at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract
