Overview
Registered Nurse - L&D in a labor and delivery setting. This travel assignment is located in Lancaster, Ohio. Start date 09/28/2026 for 8 weeks. The role offers 36 guaranteed hours per week on a Nights shift within a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Weekly pay ranges from $1,817 to $1,875 per week. This assignment is travel - temporary.

Responsibilities
Provide direct RN care to obstetric patients using the nursing process from admission to discharge, including postpartum and newborn care as applicable
Monitor fetal status with Electronic Fetal Monitoring and respond to non-reassuring findings in collaboration with the physician and care team
Administer medications, perform treatments, and implement physician orders accurately and safely
Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care; support discharge planning and home care instructions
Coordinate with multidisciplinary team; supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to nursing assistants and other staff as needed
Ensure equipment and supplies are ready and functioning; maintain a safe, clean environment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns
Requirements
Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certificate required
CPR certification
Education: Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
Experience: Previous RN experience preferred, with emphasis on labor and delivery or acute care
Ability to work in a hospital setting and manage the demands of a night-shift L&D unit
