Job Summary
nRespiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) South Austin Medical Center. This position entails providing respiratory therapy services within a pediatric-focused unit, primarily during night shifts. The role requires ensuring quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting the units specialized needs.

nnCertifications: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist), Texas licensing preferred
nEducation: Not specified
nLocation: South Austin Medical Center, 1st floor of the main building
nStaffing: Two positions available, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027
nRequired Experience: 0 years minimum, but candidates with NICU experience and at least one year of adult respiratory therapy experience are preferred
nResponsibilities include providing respiratory care using equipment such as Servo, Hamilton, and Airvo, and supporting procedures on a pediatric unit with patient ratios of 35-45 UOS
nSchedule details: Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with no call required
nAdditional responsibilities: Supporting unit policies and maintaining a team-oriented environment
