Job description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology position requiring recent oncology experience and chemotherapy certification with the ability to administer chemotherapy.
Requirements
Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy Certification
Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience required
Must be able to administer chemotherapy
Responsibilities
Work in the Radiation/Oncology unit of a hospital setting
8-hour day shift schedule, 5 shifts per week, with shift start times varying between 7:30am-4pm and 8am-4:30pm
13-week contract assignment
No on-call responsibilities
Provide oncology nursing care including chemotherapy administration
Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
Requested time off must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
