Job description
Industrial Truss Saw OperatorOperate industrial truss saws to cut lumber components used in the fabrication of roof and floor trusses. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards to ensure all materials meet exact specifications.Key Responsibilities:Operate automated and manual saws to cut wood components according to design specifications and production schedulesMeasure and mark materials to ensure accurate cutsInspect materials for defects and ensure quality standards are metMaintain saw equipment, including routine cleaning and minor adjustmentsFollow all workplace safety guidelines and proceduresWork closely with truss assemblers and production team members to ensure workflow efficiencyMonitor inventory of lumber and report shortages or issues
