Turning MachinistCome create your career with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring for a Turning Machinist in Santa Rosa, CaliforniaAs a Turning Machinist, you will:Duties: - Develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting-edge machine tools such as Swiss-style lathes, single- and multi-turret lathes, Wire EDM, and 3- to 5-axis milling centers.Skills: - This position requires a machinist with a strong focus on precision, quality, and attention to detail. Willingness to learn, strong teamwork, a positive attitude, dedication, and job flexibility are essential. You will interface with Engineering, Maintenance, Management, and Production/NPI Schedulers. Experience with any/all the following is highly desired: CNC Turning, Swiss Style Lathes, Mill/Turn Machine Center, Wire EDM, Advanced Metrology, CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software, CAD/Solid Modeling, Tool Grinding, Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Education: - High School Diploma, Associate's degree or Journeyman Machinist certification a plusThis is a full-time Contract opportunity.
