We seek employees who are passionate about serving and making a difference in the lives of others.Make more than a Living, Make a DifferenceOur BenefitsLow-Cost Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance9 days of Vacation in the first year of serviceMinimum of 11 Paid HolidaysPaid Sick LeaveRetirement savings plan with employer match up to 5%Workers CompensationAD&D InsurancePublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible EmployerService Contract Act (SCA) PositionHourly Rate: $17.20 to $18.20Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Security Guard is responsible for enforcing all laws, rules and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department.Enforces all authorized laws, rules, and regulations.The Security Guard performs alarm and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, vandalism, fire, flood, or similar disaster, suspicious acts and/or persons, and other unusual conditions.Provide vehicle transportation support function under direction of supervisor in compliance with government, corporate and management directives.Aids and assists visitors, students, and staff.Performs building security and safety checks.QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Prefer 1 year of experience in a security department, law enforcement agency, or experience with security duties.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.About Our ProgramJob Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years.
