Unarmed Security Officer- 3rd ShiftMon-Fri (12AM-8AM) $18.20/Hr.Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Minimum QualificationsMust have or be able to obtain a valid State Security LicenseValid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standardsMust be at least 18 years oldCPR & AED certified.Weekends, as needed.Warehouse experienceTruck gate operationsCCTVComms center experience24-7 availability as needed.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPatrol & Surveillance • Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns• Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials• Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activityIncident Response & Reporting • Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)Customer Service & Policy Enforcement • Assist visitors and employees professionally• Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols• Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)Required Skills & AbilitiesMinimum • Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments• Weekend availability• Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills• Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations• Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reportingPreferred • Familiarity with Microsoft Office SuiteMinimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)• Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break• Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping• Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stoppingEducation & ExperienceMinimum • High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred • 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience• 2+ years of verifiable customer service experienceNote: Responsibilities and requirements listed are not exhaustive.
