Warehouse Cargo AgentAir General, a national cargo handling company, is seeking a Warehouse Cargo Agent at our Washington Dulles International (IAB) Airport location. Warehouse duties include documentation, warehouse cargo/mail handling, loading and unloading and above all, great customer service. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Job Responsibilities include:Operate a forklift, tug and pallet jackProcess customer paperwork and shipping informationLoad/unload air cargo from/to vehicles/trucksPrepare, palletize, and/or breakdown cargo as neededMake sure paperwork related to the cargo is accurateAssure proper handling and delivery of cargoClean up and sweep warehouse, dispose garbageMaintain safe operation of warehouse vehicles and equipmentFollow Hazmat and Security Requirements and RegulationsAll other duties as assigned by supervisor/managementRequirements:Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security background checksMust be able to pass a drug testHigh school diploma or GED preferredMust possess a valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to obtain valid airport I.D. badgeMust be able to push, pull or lift up to 70lbsMust have basic computer skillsMust be at least 18 years of ageMust possess the ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English languageMust be available to work varied shifts, including nights, and occasionally on weekends, and holidaysSchedule: Hours: 10:30 am – 7:00 pm on Mon, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun.
