Job description
Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing their assigned tasks for daily operations in the warehouse including picking, receiving, processing, prepping, storing, moving and shipping products.Essential Functions:Works independently to safely receive, pick, pack, unpack, and ship products based on company standardsPerform all tasks with proper attention to safety procedures and conventions (e.g. use proper lifting techniques, maintain a safety zone around equipment, etc.)Identify any missing, lost or damaged materialsManages all merchandise with appropriate careMay assist with training of newly employed team membersApplication of labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.Maintain excellent knowledge of all company's products and policiesMay perform other duties as assigned in support of the overall success of the companyCompetencies:Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to take initiative and quickly adapt to changeExcellent time management and organization skills; meticulous attention to detailDemonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrityAbility to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goalsAbility to work positively and collaboratively with different groups within the company to advance the company's stability and growthAbility to work independently, be self-motivated and work effectively in a team environmentSkilled at communicating clearly both verbally and in writingMust be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirementsWork Environment:Works in a warehouse environment that is not temperature controlledStanding, walking, lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing for long periodsFrequently lift or pull up to 40 poundsEducation and Experience:Candidates must be 18 years or older.High school diploma required (or GED + warehouse work experience)0-3 years prior experience in warehouse or retail environmentAbility to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writingExpected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position and team members work a set schedule Monday - Friday (9am - 5:30pm)$16.90 - $16.90 an hourVICI is committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, and industry.
