Job description
Our client based in Northern Bergen County, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Manager to lead daily warehouse and distribution operations, overseeing a team of 3 direct reports and approximately 90 indirect reports. This individual will be responsible for inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping operations, reporting, backlog management, and overall distribution efficiency. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent systems skills who can drive operational performance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop distribution, warehouse, and fulfillment teams.
Oversee pick, pack, shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations.
Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of inventory and shipment data.
Monitor inventory levels, backorders, and order backlogs, driving timely resolution of issues.
Generate and analyze reports related to inventory, shipments, exports, and operational performance.
Coordinate domestic and export shipments and ensure compliance with shipping requirements.
Track KPIs and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Partner with customer service, sales, and operations teams to support customer needs and business objectives.
Qualifications
Bilingual Spanish/English required.
5+ years of distribution, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management experience.
Experience leading large teams in a distribution or warehouse environment.
Strong inventory management, shipping, fulfillment, and order management experience.
Proven ability to manage backorders, order backlogs, and operational reporting.
Strong systems and analytical skills; experience working with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems.
NetSuite experience is a significant plus.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, wholesale, or import/export environment preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
