Security Officer: Part-time, 16hours/weekShifts are every weekend, with hours varying between 12pm-8pm and 4pm-12am; additional shifts may arise as-needed (including nights and occasionally holidays)Pay: Starts at $17.75 per hour, plus night and weekend shift differentialWalk through our doors and see the difference in the future with senior living and care. The Security Officer is responsibility for verifying the scheduled presence of employees and third-party contractors on the grounds.Primary Responsibilities:Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property.Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.Shovels and keeps clear exit door walkways during and after snowstorms.Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.Other Duties:Performs light maintenance as time allows such as changing light bulbs, touch up painting and similar assignments.Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.Attends in-service training and education session, as assigned.Qualifications:Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.One-year experience in security preferred.*Please Note: Consideration for an interview requires a resume be submitted with this application.All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
