We value integrity, quality, and continuous improvement, striving to exceed customer expectations while investing in the people and processes that drive our success.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Welder Fabricator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.Fabricate and assemble metal components to specifications.Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.Measure, cut, fit, and weld structural steel and other metals. Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.Operate fabrication equipment safely, including saws, grinders, drills, and other shop tools.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.Welder Fabricator Qualifications:Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred.Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.Welding certifications are a plus but are not required.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
