Join Virginia’s largest full-scope midwifery group! Our practice is seeking to add a compassionate, collaborative, and clinically skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to our practice located in central Virginia. The CMG Women's Center is a highly successful hospital-owned practice that employs Certified Nurse-Midwives and Nurse Practitioners, serving a diverse population. Services include comprehensive healthcare across the lifespan, including antepartum through postpartum care, as well as gynecologic services such as reproductive and wellness care for women and non-binary individuals. Procedures may include IUD/Nexplanon insertion or removal, diaphragm fittings, birth biopsy, and saline-infused sonograms. Responsibilities
Conduct routine physical and annual well woman exams
Provide birth control consultation and placement services
Manage menstrual cycle and related issues
Perform STI testing
Conduct initial infertility work‑up
Manage perimenopause and menopause
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority
Maintains BLS and ACLS certifications
Active registered nurse license in Virginia or current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse
Nationally recognized certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
