Job description
This position involves providing direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in activities promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate patient status and ensure effective communication across care teams.
Contribute to a healing environment through patient education and safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN license; no prior experience required.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
