Blood Bank Manager Location: Chicago, Illinois 60601
Job Type: Permanent, Direct Hire

We are seeking an experienced Blood Bank Manager to lead blood bank operations for a respected healthcare organization in downtown Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory professional with a strong background in blood banking and progressive leadership experience.
Position Overview:
Permanent, direct-hire opportunity
Located in downtown Chicago (60601)
Relocation assistance available
Leadership role with responsibility for blood bank operations and staff
Opportunity to join an established healthcare organization
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree required
MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) certification required
SBB preferred, but not required
Progressive leadership/management experience within a blood bank
Strong knowledge of blood banking and immunohematology
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and support laboratory staff
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation in blood banking along with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities and the ability to effectively manage day-to-day operations, staff, quality, and regulatory requirements.
