About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious, results-oriented Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth within the enterprise data center market. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our footprint in electronic asset recycling, IT asset disposition (ITAD), remarketing, and reverse logistics across the United States.
You will target enterprise operators, hyperscalers, colocation providers, and technology vendors, transforming cold opportunities into high-value, long-term commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation & Prospecting: Execute outbound multi-channel prospecting strategies (cold calling, targeted outreach, social selling) to identify decision-makers and secure new client accounts.
Full-Cycle Deal Execution: Lead opportunities from initial discovery to contract execution, including drafting tailored commercial proposals, delivering persuasive pitch presentations, and negotiating agreements.
Market Strategy & Research: Monitor industry trends, decommissioning cycles, and competitor landscapes to identify untapped sectors and high-yield enterprise accounts.
Industry Representation: Represent the company at major industry conferences, trade shows, and regional networking events to elevate brand presence and generate qualified leads.
Relationship Management: Build trust and alignment across customer stakeholders (procurement, operations, and IT infrastructure leads) while collaborating internally in a matrixed organization to ensure seamless service delivery.
Candidate Qualifications
Industry Experience: 2–5 years of quota-carrying business development or sales experience specifically within ITAD, electronics recycling, asset remarketing, or reverse logistics.
Hunter Mentality: Proven comfort and track record with outbound cold prospecting, high-touch follow-ups, and building a pipeline from the ground up.
Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated capability in drafting formal RFPs/proposals, structuring deals, and delivering executive-level presentations.
Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal, written, and consultative selling skills; poised in front of enterprise clients.
Operational Discipline: Strong analytical and organizational habits, with proficiency in modern sales tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and CRM management. xhmxlyz
Education & Travel: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; ability to travel up to 15% (including occasional international travel) is required.
