Job description
MEDSTAR HEALTH is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support safe, compassionate, evidence-based care across its Maryland-Washington, D.C. healthcare system. In collaboration with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams, you will provide clinical expertise, assess patient needs, educate patients and caregivers, and help coordinate care. You will contribute to staff education, quality improvement, and the adoption of effective clinical practices while maintaining accurate documentation and following applicable standards. This patient-first role suits a collaborative clinician committed to learning, innovation, and serving diverse communities. An active RN license and relevant clinical experience are preferred; specialty certification and current BLS may be required based on the service line.
