Processes select travel and capital expenditures, schedule assigned meetings and maintains office and administrative supplies.Major Job FunctionsThe following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time:Greet the public and fellow employees and direct them to appropriate people or places for assistanceAccepts and conveys accurate and timely messages, routing telephone calls appropriatelyDistributes mail coming into and originating from the officeAssists with monitoring and record keeping related to operating and capital budgetProcesses travel requests and educational arrangementsComputerizes select information for ease of retrievalMaintains office suppliesSchedules meetings upon requestEnsure integrity of communication systems with Personnel Department regarding status changes, PAFs, etc.Maintains and monitors system for recording and tracking personnel requisitionsMinimum QualificationsThe following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:Education and Formal Training:High school diploma or equivalent requiredWork Experience:NoneKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English languageBasic knowledge of computers, multi-line telephones, copiers and calculatorsStrong interpersonal skills requiredKnowledge of medical terminology preferredPhysical Requirements:Sits for prolonged periodsAbility to communicate verballyAuditory and visual acuity to accurately perform job functionsPosition may involve skin, eye, mucous membrane or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious materialRequired Licenses and CertificationsCape Fear Valley Health System is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
