As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and tenants. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $17.50 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time:Monday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWednesday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThursday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and retail personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents, disturbances, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Observe and report security-related conditions, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.Support a welcoming retail environment by providing directions, assisting with access control, and maintaining professional communication with tenants, visitors, and emergency responders.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Customer service experience is preferred.Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
